A flavour shaped around the fragrance of crisp fruit and a dynamically complex taste makes this wine a perfect complement to the vast and tempting array of hors d'oeuvre of the traditional cuisine of Tuscany and of Italy in general, ranging from seasoned toasted bread to tasty cold meats and salami, soups such as the traditional “ribollita” and tripe, mixed bean soups or pasta dishes with white or vegetable-based sauces. 


Due to its juicy notes and its “absorbing” tannins, it is the ideal wine to modulate the juiciness of an underdone T-bone steak, a sliced beef steak or grilled beef in general. Can’t be missed with strong-flavoured cheeses such as Pecorino, or mild/medium mature cheeses.
