A “Crown” for our 2012 Chianti Classico Riserva

The first accolades are just coming in from the main wine guides, which will come out at the end of the year. Vinibuoni d’Italia – one of Italy’s most widely read guides, published in conjunction with Touring Club Italiano and dealing specifically with wines from indigenous grape varieties – has just announced its “Crowns” for 2017, that is to say those wines that received maximum points from some twenty tasting panels, involving more than eighty wine trade professionals who specialize in the products of the various Regions of Italy. One of the winners of a “Crown” was our 2012 Chianti Classico Riserva from Lamole di Lamole, a wine that includes 95% of Sangiovese grapes, in perfect line with the history and tradition of Italy’s oldest Denomination.
